# ACCEPTABLE USE POLICY

## 1. INTRODUCTION & SCOPE

This Acceptable Use Policy (hereinafter "Policy") is an integral part of the GeoChain Terms & Conditions and sets forth the rules and restrictions governing User conduct on the GeoChain platform located at https://geo-chain.xyz/ (hereinafter "Platform").

This Policy applies to all Users, including both Sellers and Buyers. By accessing the Platform, Users acknowledge that they have read and agree to comply with this Policy. Any violation of this Policy may result in immediate suspension, termination of account, and/or legal action.

**This Policy is legally binding and is incorporated by reference into the Terms & Conditions.**

## 2. PROHIBITED DATA & CONTENT

### 2.1 Illegal Data
Users may NOT upload, list, or purchase any Data that:

**2.1.1 Violates Criminal Law**
- Facilitates illegal activities (drug trafficking, human trafficking, terrorism financing, weapons trafficking)
- Is stolen or obtained through criminal means
- Relates to fraud, money laundering, or financial crimes
- Facilitates cybercrime, hacking, or unauthorized access
- Relates to counterfeit goods, black market operations, or contraband
- Violates any federal, state, or local criminal law

**2.1.2 Violates Export Control Laws**
- Data relating to military technology or defense systems
- Data subject to US Export Control Regulations (EAR, ITAR)
- Data controlled under UN sanctions or embargoes
- Data obtained from countries subject to trade restrictions
- Dual-use technology or strategic information

**Consequence:** Immediate data removal, account termination, cooperation with law enforcement

### 2.2 Privacy-Violating Data
Users may NOT upload any Data containing:

**2.2.1 Personal Data in Violation of GDPR/CCPA**
- Names, phone numbers, personal email addresses without anonymization
- Home addresses or residential location data without authorization
- Social Security numbers, national identification numbers, passport information
- Financial account numbers, credit card information
- Medical records or health information
- Biometric data (facial recognition, fingerprints, iris scans)
- Genetic information or DNA data
- Employment records or salary information without authorization
- Information about children or minors
- Sexual orientation, religious beliefs, political affiliation without authorization

**2.2.2 Personal Consent Requirements**
- Data about individuals who have NOT provided explicit consent to sale/distribution
- Data that violates existing privacy policies or agreements
- Data obtained from privacy-protected sources without authorization

**2.2.3 Data Protection Compliance**
- Users warrant that any personal data included in Data listings has been properly anonymized, pseudonymized, or has explicit consent
- Users are solely responsible for compliance with GDPR, CCPA, and applicable privacy laws
- GeoChain is NOT liable for Users' privacy law violations

**Consequence:** Immediate data removal, account termination, potential legal action

### 2.3 Intellectual Property Violations
Users may NOT upload any Data that:

**2.3.1 Infringes Third-Party Rights**
- Violates copyright protections (except for original work or properly licensed data)
- Violates trademark or brand protections
- Infringes patent rights or trade secrets
- Violates right of publicity or personality rights
- Uses data obtained through unauthorized means
- Violates software licenses or usage restrictions
- Contains data subject to restrictive licensing agreements

**2.3.2 Proper Attribution**
- Users warrant they own or have proper license to all uploaded Data
- Users represent that Data does not infringe third-party intellectual property
- Users acknowledge GeoChain's right to remove infringing Data upon notice

**Consequence:** Data removal, account suspension, legal liability

### 2.4 Malicious Data & Technical Threats
Users may NOT upload any Data containing:

**2.4.1 Malicious Code & Malware**
- Viruses, worms, trojans, or other malicious software
- Ransomware or extortion software
- Spyware, adware, or privacy-violating software
- Rootkits or kernel-level exploits
- Logic bombs or time-based attack code
- DoS/DDoS attack tools or resources
- Keyloggers or monitoring software

**2.4.2 Exploitation Tools**
- Hacking tools or unauthorized access methods
- Exploit kits or vulnerability packages
- Data exfiltration tools
- Credential harvesting tools
- Phishing kits or social engineering tools

**Consequence:** Immediate quarantine, account termination, potential law enforcement referral

### 2.5 Data Facilitating Harm
Users may NOT upload any Data intended to:

**2.5.1 Facilitate Violence or Harm**
- Incite violence, terrorism, or extremism
- Provide instructions for creating weapons or explosives
- Facilitate abuse, exploitation, or harassment
- Enable human trafficking or sexual exploitation
- Coordinate organized crime or gang activity

**2.5.2 Facilitate Fraud & Deception**
- Phishing schemes or social engineering attacks
- Advance-fee fraud or "Nigerian prince" scams
- Identity theft or account takeover
- Cryptocurrency scams or Ponzi schemes
- Deepfakes or manipulated content intended to deceive

**Consequence:** Immediate removal, account termination, law enforcement cooperation

### 2.6 Sensitive & Restricted Categories
Users may NOT upload any Data in these sensitive categories:

**2.6.1 Government & Military Data**
- Military installations, bases, or defense infrastructure locations
- Government building security information
- Official government data marked classified or sensitive
- Intelligence agency operational information
- Surveillance or monitoring location data

**2.6.2 Critical Infrastructure**
- Power grid, water supply, or utilities infrastructure details
- Nuclear facility information
  - Transportation infrastructure vulnerabilities

## 3. SUPPORT CHANNEL CONDUCT

### 3.1 Prohibited in Support Chats
- Secret Recovery Phrase (SRP), seed phrases, private keys, wallet mnemonics
- Passwords, 2FA codes, backup codes
- Payment card numbers and full personal identifiers
- Malware, exploit code, or links to criminal activity

### 3.2 Integrity and Safety
- Do not impersonate GeoChain staff or other users
- Do not spam, harass, or threaten users or staff
- Do not disclose third‑party personal data without lawful basis

### 3.3 Language and Etiquette
- Support is provided in English
- Keep messages accurate, concise, and relevant to the issue

**Consequence:** Violations may result in message removal, conversation termination, account suspension, and reporting to authorities where applicable.

**2.6.3 Financial Institutions**
- Banking infrastructure or security details
- Cryptocurrency exchange security information
- ATM locations for robbery planning
- Vault or secure facility information

**Consequence:** Immediate removal, potential law enforcement notification

### 2.7 Hateful, Discriminatory & Abusive Content
Users may NOT upload Data containing:

**2.7.1 Hateful Content**
- Promotion of violence or discrimination based on race, ethnicity, national origin
- Religious discrimination or hate speech
- Gender-based discrimination or harassment
- Sexual orientation or transgender discrimination
- Disability discrimination or ableist content
- Hate speech targeting any protected class

**2.7.2 Abusive Content**
- Targeted harassment or cyberbullying campaigns
- Revenge porn or non-consensual intimate imagery
- Doxxing information (publishing private information to enable harassment)
- Threatening or extortionist content
- Slurs or dehumanizing language

**Consequence:** Data removal, account warning, potential account termination for repeat violations

## 3. PROHIBITED SELLER CONDUCT

### 3.1 Deceptive Practices
Sellers may NOT:

**3.1.1 Misrepresent Data**
- Falsely describe Data content, accuracy, or completeness
- Misrepresent Data currency or freshness
- Conceal known defects or limitations in Data
- Provide false metadata or Data descriptions
- Misrepresent geographic coverage or data extent
- Misrepresent data resolution, accuracy, or reliability

**3.1.2 Pricing Deception**
- Artificially inflate pricing to deceive Buyers
- Fail to disclose known Data defects
- Misrepresent data value or market rates
- Use bait-and-switch pricing tactics
- Fail to honor stated pricing before purchase

**Consequence:** Listing delisting, account suspension, potential refund requirement

### 3.2 Unauthorized Licensing
Sellers may NOT:

**3.2.1 License Restrictions Violation**
- Sell Data obtained under restrictive licenses that prohibit resale
- Violate original Data provider licensing agreements
- Sublicense Data without authorization
- Sell Data subject to "for personal use only" restrictions
- Transfer Data with licensing restrictions not disclosed to Buyer

**3.2.2 Attribution & Compliance**
- Fail to provide required attribution or credit to original Data sources
- Remove copyright notices or licensing information
- Obscure or tamper with Data provenance information

**Consequence:** Data removal, account termination, license violation liability

### 3.3 Fraudulent Conduct
Sellers may NOT:

**3.3.1 Transaction Fraud**
- Process payments for Data and then fail to deliver
- Modify or corrupt Data after delivery
- Use chargebacks or payment disputes fraudulently
- Misuse escrow or payment hold mechanisms
- Conduct pump-and-dump or market manipulation

**3.3.2 Account Fraud**
- Create fake accounts to inflate ratings or reviews
- Engage in shill bidding or artificial demand creation
- Misrepresent seller identity or legitimacy
- Impersonate other sellers or users
- Create duplicate accounts to circumvent suspensions

**Consequence:** Account termination, payment account closure, law enforcement referral

## 4. PROHIBITED BUYER CONDUCT

### 4.1 Unauthorized Use
Buyers may NOT:

**4.1.1 License Violation**
- Use Data outside licensing terms specified by Seller
- Use Data for unlicensed commercial purposes
- Redistribute or resell Data without authorization
- Sublicense Data to third parties without permission
- Use Data in violation of stated restrictions

**4.1.2 Prohibited Uses**
- Use Data for discrimination, targeting vulnerable populations
- Use Data for surveillance or unauthorized tracking
- Use Data to facilitate fraud, identity theft, or crimes
- Use Data to enable harassment or abuse
- Use Data in violation of applicable laws

**Consequence:** Account suspension, potential legal action, cooperation with law enforcement

### 4.2 Fraud & Misuse
Buyers may NOT:

**4.2.1 Payment Fraud**
- Process chargebacks or refund claims fraudulently
- Use stolen payment methods or wallet addresses
- Engage in payment disputes with intent to defraud
- Falsely claim non-delivery of Data
- Manipulate escrow or dispute mechanisms

**4.2.2 Account Abuse**
- Create multiple accounts to circumvent limits or restrictions
- Use accounts registered in false names
- Access accounts through unauthorized means
- Share account credentials with unauthorized parties
- Attempt to gain unauthorized system access

**Consequence:** Account termination, payment account closure, legal liability

### 4.3 Platform Abuse
Buyers may NOT:

**4.3.1 System Manipulation**
- Conduct automated scraping or bulk downloading
- Attempt to exploit vulnerabilities or bugs
- Reverse-engineer or analyze platform architecture
- Conduct security testing without authorization
- Interfere with Platform operations or performance

**4.3.2 Communication Abuse**
- Spam other Users with unsolicited messages
- Engage in targeted harassment or cyberbullying
- Attempt to manipulate or threaten other Users
- Coordinate abuse campaigns or harassment

**Consequence:** Account suspension, platform ban, potential legal action

## 5. CRYPTOCURRENCY & BLOCKCHAIN RULES

### 5.1 Payment Requirements
Users acknowledge that:

**5.1.1 Cryptocurrency-Only Transactions**
- All transactions use cryptocurrency exclusively (XRP, RLUSD, USDC)
- Cryptocurrency payments are irreversible and cannot be refunded
- Users are solely responsible for accurate wallet addresses
- Mistyped or incorrect addresses may result in permanent loss of funds
- GeoChain cannot recover cryptocurrency sent to incorrect addresses

**5.1.2 Cross-Chain Bridges**
- Bridge protocols are operated by third parties not controlled by GeoChain
- GeoChain is not responsible for bridge failures, delays, or losses
- Bridge slippage, fees, and rate fluctuations are users' responsibility
- Verify bridge status before initiating transactions

**5.1.3 AML/KYC Compliance (Future Implementation)**
- GeoChain will implement AML/KYC verification in the future
- Users may be required to verify identity before transactions
- Failure to pass verification may result in account suspension
- GeoChain will comply with all applicable sanctions and AML regulations

### 5.2 Smart Contract Rules
Users acknowledge that:

**5.2.1 Smart Contract Execution**
- Smart contracts are deployed on XRPL EVM Sidechain
- Transactions are automated and irreversible upon blockchain confirmation
- Users accept the smart contract terms and code execution
- GeoChain cannot reverse or modify smart contract outcomes
- Users are responsible for understanding smart contract implications

**5.2.2 Immutability & Permanence**
- Blockchain transactions are immutable and permanent
- Transaction data remains on blockchain indefinitely
- Users cannot delete or modify transaction history
- Users consent to permanent transaction recording

## 6. DATA INTEGRITY & DELIVERY RULES

### 6.1 Seller Data Integrity
Sellers agree to:

**6.1.1 Data Authenticity**
- Ensure uploaded Data is complete, accurate, and authentic
- Provide Data exactly as described in listing
- Verify Data integrity before upload
- Take reasonable steps to prevent Data corruption
- Warrant Data is free of malware and technical defects

**6.1.2 Data Accuracy Responsibility**
- Acknowledge that GeoChain cannot verify Data accuracy
- Accept responsibility for Data accuracy and completeness
- Warrant Data is fit for described purpose
- Disclose known Data defects or limitations
- Accept liability for Data inaccuracy claims

**Consequence:** Buyer disputes, potential account suspension, legal liability

### 6.2 Buyer Download Responsibility
Buyers acknowledge that:

**6.2.1 Data Security & Backup**
- Users must download and backup purchased Data immediately
- GeoChain is not responsible for Data loss on User systems
- Users must implement own backup procedures
- Data stored locally is User's sole responsibility
- GeoChain provides one-time decryption key delivery

**6.2.2 Data Loss Risk**
- If Seller deletes account, Data may become inaccessible from Platform
- GeoChain will notify Users of impending data access loss
- Users must backup Data before account deletion occurs
- GeoChain is not liable for Data loss due to Seller account termination
- Users assume all risk of Data loss or corruption

## 7. ACCOUNT RESPONSIBILITIES & SECURITY

### 7.1 User Account Obligations
Users agree to:

**7.1.1 Account Accuracy**
- Provide accurate, truthful, and complete information
- Maintain current account contact information
- Update information if circumstances change
- Accept responsibility for all account activities
- Notify GeoChain of unauthorized account access

**7.1.2 Account Security**
- Maintain confidentiality of account credentials and passwords
- Use unique, strong passwords
- Enable multi-factor authentication if available
- Not share account access with other parties
- Accept responsibility for all activities under User's account

**Consequence:** Account suspension, account termination, liability for unauthorized transactions

### 7.2 Prohibited Account Activities
Users may NOT:

**7.2.1 Account Manipulation**
- Create multiple accounts to circumvent Platform rules
- Share accounts with other users
- Create fake or fraudulent accounts
- Use accounts under false identity
- Attempt to access others' accounts
- Sell, trade, or transfer accounts

**7.2.2 Collusion & Market Manipulation**
- Coordinate with other Users to artificially inflate demand
- Create fake transactions to manipulate pricing
- Engage in wash trading or circular transactions
- Collude with Platform insiders or operators
- Attempt to manipulate reputation systems or reviews

**Consequence:** Immediate account termination, potential legal action

## 8. COMMUNICATION & CONDUCT RULES

### 8.1 Professional Communication
Users agree to:

**8.1.1 Respectful Conduct**
- Conduct all communications professionally and respectfully
- Avoid abusive, threatening, or harassing language
- Respect other Users' privacy and dignity
- Avoid discriminatory or hateful content
- Accept Platform's right to moderate communications

**8.1.2 Communication Restrictions**
- Do not spam or send unsolicited messages to other Users
- Do not share contact information to circumvent Platform
- Do not offer off-Platform transactions to avoid fees
- Do not coordinate external schemes or arrangements
- Do not attempt to solicit sensitive information

**Consequence:** Communication restrictions, account warning, account suspension

### 8.2 Support Channel Usage
Users agree to:

**8.2.1 Good Faith Communication**
- Use support channels only for legitimate Platform issues
- Provide accurate and complete information in support requests
- Not abuse support systems or make frivolous complaints
- Respond to GeoChain requests for additional information
- Accept reasonable timelines for issue resolution

**8.2.2 Dispute Resolution**
- Participate in good faith dispute resolution processes
- Provide evidence and documentation to support claims
- Accept dispute resolutions made in accordance with Policy
- Not escalate disputes inappropriately or threateningly

**Consequence:** Support access restrictions, dispute resolution unfavorable to User

## 9. ENFORCEMENT & REMEDIES

### 9.1 Violation Detection & Response
GeoChain may:

**9.1.1 Monitoring & Investigation**
- Monitor Platform activity for violations
- Investigate suspected violations
- Request information from suspected violators
- Preserve evidence of violations
- Cooperate with law enforcement and regulators

**9.1.2 Immediate Actions**
- Remove prohibited Data immediately upon detection
- Suspend Data listings pending investigation
- Restrict User account access
- Terminate User accounts for severe violations
- Preserve user data for potential legal proceedings

### 9.2 Escalating Remedies
Depending on violation severity, GeoChain may:

**9.2.1 First Offense**
- Send written warning to User
- Require Data correction or removal
- Implement probationary period (30-90 days)
- Require User acknowledgment of Policy

**9.2.2 Repeated or Serious Violations**
- Suspend User account (7-30 days)
- Remove multiple listings or Data
- Restrict transaction privileges
- Implement mandatory compliance training (future)

**9.2.3 Severe or Illegal Conduct**
- Permanent account termination
- Payment account closure
- Blacklist from future account creation
- Cooperation with law enforcement
- Legal action and damages recovery

### 9.3 No Appeal Right for Illegal Content
GeoChain is not obligated to provide appeal procedures for:
- Illegal content or activity
- Content violating criminal law
- Data subject to sanctions or export controls
- Data clearly violating privacy laws
- Data posing immediate harm or threat

## 10. USER REPRESENTATIONS & WARRANTIES

By using the Platform, Users represent and warrant that:

### 10.1 Authority & Capacity
- User is at least 18 years of age
- User has full legal capacity to enter into agreements
- User is not prohibited from using the Platform under applicable law
- User is not subject to sanctions or export restrictions

### 10.2 Data & Content
- All Data uploaded is User's original work or properly licensed
- User has all necessary rights to sell or use Data
- Data does not violate any third-party intellectual property rights
- Data does not violate applicable law or regulations
- Data complies with all representations in User's listing

### 10.3 Conduct
- User will comply with this Policy and all applicable law
- User will not engage in prohibited conduct
- User will not facilitate others' violations of this Policy
- User will not circumvent or attempt to bypass Policy restrictions

### 10.4 Cryptocurrency
- User understands cryptocurrency transaction irreversibility
- User is responsible for accurate wallet addresses
- User accepts all cryptocurrency transaction risks
- User will not engage in money laundering or sanctions violations

## 11. INDEMNIFICATION & LIABILITY

### 11.1 User Indemnification
Users indemnify and hold harmless GeoChain from:
- All claims arising from User's Data
- All claims arising from User's violation of this Policy
- All claims from third parties regarding User's conduct
- Legal fees and damages from User's violations
- Law enforcement investigations related to User's conduct

### 11.2 No Liability Limitation
GeoChain accepts no liability for:
- Removal of Data or suspension of accounts
- Enforcement of this Policy
- User disputes or disagreements with enforcement
- Consequential damages from Policy enforcement

## 12. MODIFICATIONS & ENFORCEMENT

### 12.1 Policy Changes
GeoChain may modify this Policy at any time. Continued use constitutes acceptance of modifications.

### 12.2 Enforcement Discretion
GeoChain has sole discretion to:
- Interpret Policy provisions
- Determine violations
- Impose remedies
- Modify enforcement approaches
- Make exceptions for legitimate cases

### 12.3 Coordination with Terms & Conditions
This Policy is an integral part of the Terms & Conditions. In case of conflict, the more restrictive provision applies.

**Data**: Geospatial information, geodata, maps, coordinates, or other location-based digital content uploaded to the Platform

**Seller**: User who uploads and lists Data for sale

**Buyer**: User who purchases Data

**Listing**: Description of Data offered for sale, including metadata and pricing

**Non-Compliant Data**: Data violating this Policy or applicable law

**Prohibited Conduct**: Activities explicitly forbidden by this Policy

**Personal Data**: Information relating to identified or identifiable natural persons

**Intellectual Property**: Patents, copyrights, trademarks, trade secrets, and related rights
